The rain velocity dislodges soil and cause erosion on slopy areas. When Jute geo textile is installed, it acts as a layer that absorbs the impact from rainwater. The impact of the rainwater hitting the soil will be reduced substantially. In the openings of the mesh matting or Jute Geo textile, rainwater will still dislodge the soil, but the 1-inch netting under the topsoil will capture the and prevent the soil to roll down the slopes.
